Any publication of scientific information as an article, report, review or another type of publication in a peer-reviewed journal is important for our development of knowledge about the species our group is dealing with. Therefore it is important that all the authors, reviewers and the editor agree upon standards of expected ethical behaviour in our scientific life.

No form of scientific misconduct can be accepted and all manuscripts will undergo a plagiarism check using a dedicated software.

The IUCN-SSC OSG Bulletin has signed up to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), a charitable organisation that provides a forum for scientific journal editors and publishers to discuss issues related to the integrity of the work submitted to or published in their journals.
