Our iNaturalist project “IUCN SSC OSG Otters of the World” was created in 2014 and is aimed at collecting opportunistic observations on otter species worldwide.
This project will help fill distribution knowledge gaps, identify early warnings of occurrence in critical areas, and raise awareness about otters and the conservation challenges they face.
All submitted observations are subject to validation and confirmation by experts before being made visible and public.
