2020 World Otter Day competition!

This year, the IUCN/SSC OSG is proud to be able to offer a colouring and art competition… with surprise prizes!

There will be two categories: Colouring and Art.

Rules and Regulations:

  1. 1) You may only submit one entry for one of the two categories, either “Colouring” or “Art”
  2.  
  3. 2) The “Colouring” category refers to colouring of the “2020 Colouring Competition” sheet. If the sheet is not available, please write to otterdaycompetition@gmail.com. Colouring has to be completed on this sheet and by hand, not with the use of any digital tool. “2020 Colouring Competition” sheet, once coloured in, can be scanned or photographed and sent to the dedicated email (see point 6.)

  5. 3) The “Art” category will feature art entitled “A Day in the Life of an Otter” and will have to represent a determined species, chosen by the artist. Art can be completed in any form except photography and will have to be specified by the artist or guardian on submission. All art must be submitted either in scanned or photographed form to the dedicated email (see point 6)

  7. 4) There is no entry fee

  9. 5) There is no age limit. If under 18, the age of the artist will have to be specified by the artist or guardian on submission

  11. 6) All entries must be submitted before 12:00 GMT on the 25th of May 2020 to the email otterdaycompetition@gmail.com

  13. 7) When submitting your entry, data required is:
    • * full name
    • * complete address of residence (for delivery of the prize)
    • * age of artist (only if under 18)
    • * materials used
    • * only for the “Art” category: species represented in the art piece

  15. Winners will be chosen by a jury of otter experts and art connoisseurs

  17. 8) There will be one overall winner for each category, “Colouring” and “Art”. Furthermore, there will be one winner per species in the “Art” category

  19. 9) Winners will be announced on our facebook page on World Otter Day, the 27th of May 2020 and will also be contacted via email
