Chinese citizens already hooked on helping otter conservation

News of the 14th International Otter Congress coming to China for the first time was already trending on the country’s social media, long before the Congress details have been announced.
In March 2018, KFBG, co-organizer of the Congress, held a public contest in their social media accounts, asking artistic talents in China to design the Congress logo. The Weibo post (Chinese Twitter counterpart) received over ONE MILLION views within 1.5 weeks. It was epic.

At the end of this contest, we had 260 design entries and we were overwhelmed by the public enthusiasm. The Congress logo on this website you are viewing is the winning piece; and its proud creator, a cheerful art designer living in Beijing, has been invited to join KFBG on a fieldtrip to survey for wild otters in Tangjiahe, the Congress venue.

We believe, and have experienced firsthand that there are many beautiful minds keen to lend their support to otter conservation in China, and change will surely happen!
